Pastor Gary Warlick committed his life to Christ at age 14 in 1975 at First Assembly of Kennedy Texas, soon afterward sensing a calling to Gospel ministry and enrolling in Bible College in Oklahoma in the fall of 1980. He chose to major in Evangelism and Biblical Studies attending Rhema Bible Training Center, then continuing in his spiritual journey through seminary with a Theology PhD. Church staff and pastoral positions followed with additional worldwide evangelistic and pastoral outreach starting in the early 1990’s through the present day. He also has served as Vice President of the Country Gospel Music Association since 1999 receiving multiple awards in various musical categories through the years of service there. He and wife Reverend Dola accepted the Senior Pastor position at Gentle Shepherd Fellowship of Rockford in August of 2020.
Reverend Dola Warlick received her Ministry License in 1990 went on to become ordained in 1992 under the Full Gospel Fellowship International. As she spoke to many women’s groups and evangelized, the Lord called her to open Rock House Ministries in Rockford, Illinois. She sponsored and opened four additional churches around the midwestern states under Rock House Ministries. On August 15th, 1999, she founded Rock House Kids on Seventh Street in Rockford. Dola retired from Rock House Kids in Dec 2017 and continued to minister traveling and speaking in many different churches. She met her husband Gary in New Orleans, and they were married in 2019. One year later they were called to Gentle Shepherd Fellowship of Rockford as full time Senior Pastors.
